Block 15 Brewing is a locally-owned company that was born out of a passion for thoughtfully and excellently produced food and beer, social and environmental sustainability, strong local partnerships, generously giving back to our community, and organic growth that prioritizes our team’s wellbeing and the quality of our work.

First established in 2008 as a community-oriented brewpub, Block 15 has since grown to include three focused locations—a community-focused brewpub, a production brewery and tap room, and a sibling restaurant in Caves Corvallis —alongside Block 15 Distribution Company, on bringing craft beer and goods from regional artisans to markets around the PNW.


We’re looking for a truly special Marketing Manager to join our Digital Media Specialist to help us share the Block 15 experience in our local community, and across the PNW—someone that can blend creative vision and analytical insight as you tell the Block 15 story as uniquely and efficiencies as possible. Past experience in craft beer, food, and hospitality is also a huge plus.

An imaginative and professional approach to content and communication is a must, as our marketing programs need to reflect the same polish and originality as our products. An organized mind and strong project management experience is just as important, as our business relies on well-defined goals and sound budgeting to give us the freedom to create something special when inspiration strikes.

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Integrate marketing plans, goals, strategy, and budgets into workflow.

  • Manage both in-house and external content creators and coordinate with other internal teams to ensure that projects are completed to specifications and in a timely fashion.

  • Oversee digital presence across multiple brands and company divisions—including social media, websites, and newsletters—in coordination with in-house Digital Media Specialist.

  • Manage and build key business relationships and collaborative marketing projects.

  • Integrate, enhance and oversee clear workflows for internal departments, including brewery, distribution and restaurants..


  • Oversee brand creative direction across all arms of the company, both maintaining and evolving Block 15’s visuals and voice.

  • Contribute to product development through strategic analysis of portfolio and competitive landscape and monitoring of industry trends.

  • Partner with our executive chef, brewing & sales teams to develop, refine and execute innovative and desirable products in the craft beer marketplace.

  • Organize and oversee the creative development of product labels from conception to completion, including TTB compliance and submissions.


  • Maintain and build Block 15’s reputation as an innovative and thought-provoking leader in the brewing space and local community.

  • Build foundational relationships with relevant industry stakeholders.

  • Oversee professional and positive communication with our customer base through newsletters, emails, online platforms, events, print material and across the bar.

  • Manage press outreach and public relations, including development of industry contacts, crafting professional and compelling press releases, and actively monitoring industry editorial calendars.

  • Strengthen brand presence in local, regional and national levels through products, campaigns and innovations.

  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with ensuring marketing projects are completed on time.

  • Strong understanding of brand identity and an eye toward what’s creative, relevant, and exciting in the market.

  • Ability to embody our brand’s voice across all marketing channels, with humor, originality, and precision.

  • Strong and positive communication skills across all channels, whether written or face-to-face, longform or short and sweet.

  • Acute attention to detail, whether reviewing creative collateral, copy, or analytical data.

  • A high level of flexibility to both take direction and work independently.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills when representing the brand in our locations and in the marketplace at events and meetings.

  • Computer skills including MS Office, Google apps and Adobe CS.

  • Ability to analyze marketing performance, and direct the team in a positive way to adjust and improve when necessary.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of industry experience or 4+ years of marketing experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management of creative projects and marketing programs.

  • Can present a portfolio of marketing work demonstrating creative direction, marketing plans, tracking and sourcing data

  • A strong appreciation for the role of locally owned and operated organizations with strong ties to their community.

  • A passion for beer, artisan food, community, and fun!

  • Located in Corvallis or the surrounding area or willing to relocate.
